Advocates for Life

Activities include:

  • Leading communal prayer events, including a weekly pro-life rosary, monthly vigils at Planned Parenthood, and annual Lenten Stations of the Cross, and encouraging fasting and acts of sacrifice for the protection of human life from conception to natural death;

  • Educating on the sanctity of human life in all its stages;

  • Collecting and delivering items for infants-toddlers throughout the year for Marisol Family (formerly Gabriel House);

  • Coordinating two major ministry-led collection events each year to support struggling parents and others in need;

  • Educating and engaging voters on key life issues in advance of local, state, and national elections;

  • Partnering with like-minded ministries (such as the Knights of Columbus) and organizations (such as the Archdiocese of Denver's Respect Life Office, Catholic Charities, Denver 40 Days for Life, Sisters of Life, and Students for Life).

Join us in prayer, events, and at our monthly meetings. New members, new ideas, and new skills are very welcome and much appreciated! Please join us!

There are two ways you can serve:

1) Sign up yourself or a group at https://serveccdenver.volunteerhub.com/lp/easymeal.

2) Serve with one of our ministries. Please contact the ministry directly to sign up and for information on where they will be serving.

Sent Ministry

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matt 28:19). In Baptism, we are made priest, prophet and king, and are commissioned to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all peoples! The Our Lady of Loreto Sent Ministry begins in our own backyard, evangelizing the Good News by going forth into our parish neighborhoods and witnessing our Faith through prayer, sharing the Word of God, and serving our neighbors.
