Ministries:
- Adoration: Come to a dedicated time, or drop in anytime day or night, to adore the Blessed Sacrament.
- Advocates For Life: Educate others about the importance of life - "from the moment of conception to natural death".
- Caring Hands: Meet at OLOL to knit, crochet or sew special items for babies, elderly and those recovering from surgery.
- Cookies, Sandwiches and More: At home, make pb&j sandwiches and/or desserts for the homeless, once a month. Sandwiches are picked up at OLOL for delivery to the Holy Ghost food line in downtown Denver.
- Cor Jesu (Heart of Jesus): Pray for parishioner needs by being a part of a prayer chain from your home.
- Habitat for Humanity: Building a home for a needy family is a great way to share your time and talent for the Lord. Come swing a hammer or paint brush with us. (No experience required)
- Gabriel Project: Join a team to assist women and men dealing with crisis pregnancies, often teenagers.
- JustFaith: Journey through an incredible formation program that gets to the heart of Catholic Social Teaching.
- Knights of Columbus: Men of the parish are encouraged to join this outstanding organization to develop spiritual friendships, serve the parish, and participate in various community outreach programs.
- Ladies Auxiliary: Ladies of the parish coming together to share in their faith and friendship while serving the parish and community in many ways.
- Legion of Mary: Join a dedicated group of parishioners that gather together to pray and do corporal acts of mercy.
- Loreto Cares - Funeral Reception Side Dish: Bake or cook a side dish for funeral receptions.
- Loreto Cares - Meals for those in need: Cook and deliver meals to people in time of need.
- Multi-Media/Interactive/Web Design: Help us with your skill and be part of a team that communicates using technology, programming and art design - familiarity with Adobe applications helpful but not needed.
- OFR: Outreach for Recovery is a monthly support group for recovering addicts.
- Life Closet: Help those in need of clothing by joining our team. You can: sort clothes, drive clothes to the Life Closet, organize clothes in the Life Closet, help those who come into the Life Closet.
- Nursing Home Outreach: Spend a couple of hours each month with residents of the Cherry Creek Nursing Home.
- Soup Kitchen: Join a group of parishioners that prepare and serve food in Denver at the Catholic Worker Soup Kitchen.
- Parish Drives: Help with organizing the various food and clothing drives we have throughout the year to help the needy.
- Queen of Peace Prayer Group: Join a prayer group twice a month to pray the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
- Respect Life Month (October) Assistance: Help with distributing materials and setting up for various events throughout the month.
- Ridge View Academy: Share your love of the Lord by spending time helping at this boy's detention facility.
- Sew the Faith Quilters: Meets every third Wednesday at 6pm for mini bible lessons and sewing/quilting. All abilities welcome.
Dcn. George Brown's ministries:
- St. Vincent de Paul Society: A lay ministry primarily to develop the spirituality of its members and provides service to those within parish boundaries who have material needs.
- Prison Outreach: Share your love of the Lord by spending time with those in prison on Sundays and Wednesdays.
